Saenchai Saepong is easily one of the most recognizable guys in Muay Thai history and is easily one of the best Muay Thai fighters of all time. He’s been fighting since 1997 and is insanely still fighting to this very day. He did boxing (not Thai Boxing) for a very short period in the 2000s as his gym scammed him and he did this to spite them as they thought he wouldn’t be able to. Then, he joined Kingstar gym to train in instead of his original gym (Yokkao).  Then, he retired for a very short period in 2014 as he got burned out from fighting so much however eventually came out and is still fighting nowadays. He then joined Thai Fight as he was bored of not fighting and “Since making his Thai Fight debut in 2014, Saenchai has never lost a match in the promotion. Making him the most successful fight in Thai Fight history.” which is a very hard thing to accomplish exactly in Muay Thai. He is one of the most active fighters as he fought 88 exhibition fights (fights that don’t count towards your professional record) in 15 countries within the last thirteen years which is absolutely positively insane.

Now, you might be thinking why I am talking about a Muay Thai legend and well one of the reasons is that he’s interesting but also, he fighting in BKFC in Thailand “Now, the Thai icon is preparing for the next bout of his legendary career – a special rules bare knuckle Thai fight with fellow Thai striking superstar Buakaw, the man widely regarded as the Michael Jordan of Muay Thai kickboxing. The bout will take place at BKFC Thailand 5 on Nov. 4 in Pattaya, LIVE on The BKFC App.”
