If you enjoy warm sun, sand, and a beautiful turquoise ocean, Cancun is a perfect place to visit. Cancun is a Mexican city on the Yucatan Peninsula bordering the Caribbean Sea.  It is known for its beaches and numerous resorts.  Springtime (March to May) is a great time to visit Cancun.  Hurricane season is between the start of June and the end of November.   The highest risk between September and October due to sea temperatures being at their hottest.

Cancun has many fun experiences.   If you enjoy swimming, you have many opportunities.  A cool experience is cenotes, which is swimming in a natural freshwater hole in a cave.  It is very cool to see, but the water is usually very cold.   You can also have many places to snorkel and see beautiful colorful fish and coral reefs in the crystal clear waters.  Many people enjoy a swimming with dolphins experience.   It is an experience you will never forget!

A favorite theme park to go to is called Xplor.  It is the most visited zip-line park in the world.   It is definitely not for people who have a fear of heights.  The highest one is 147 ft above the ground!  If you complete all of the zip lines, you will covered 2.3 miles of ziplines.  The last one taking you down to the water below.
