The Varsity Volleyball team has had an amazing season so far this year. They are currently 29-3, with 2 regular season games remaining. They take on Monmouth-Roseville next Tuesday, and Rock Island on Thursday for Senior Night. They are seeded first going into regionals, which will be hosted at Sherrard this year. Their three losses are to Washington, Tri-Valley, and Illini West. The team won the Wethersfield tournament for the second year in a row! They also got second at the Orion Charger Challenge, third at the United Tournament. The team chemistry on and off the court is amazing. All of the coaches pour so much knowledge into them, which makes the team so much stronger. All of the coaches believe in the team so much, which gives everyone confidence. Coach Sydney Adams says, “A few things that stand out to me have just been the continuous wins we keep getting. I’m proud of being able to pull off some good 3 game wins and battling with tough teams. My favorite win this season has been at Rockridge. I have not won a game at Rockridge as a varsity coach yet, and I finally got that win!” The season is coming to an end, but many people have hope for the Varsity Volleyball team this postseason. Go Chargers!
