What Would Be Your Last Meal? Part 1...

Tekail Barnes, Writer

There are some last meal requests from death row prisoners. So i’m going to tell you about some.

Marion Albert Pruett

he asked to eat with another inmate, Pruett ordered Pizza Hut pizza (stuffed crust), four Burger King Whoppers, a large order of French fries, three two-liter Pepsi drinks, a fried eggplant, fried squash, fried okra, a whole pecan pie and wanted to request roast duck but didn’t think the prison would cook it.

Philip Workman

He wanted the prison to give a large vegetarian pizza to someone homeless in Nashville, declining a meal for himself. The prison refused, so other people in Tennessee granted his wish on his execution day and took hundreds of pizzas to homeless shelters.

Ted Bundy

He refused a last meal. The prisoners made him a meal anyway. They gave him a medium-rare steak, eggs (over-easy), some hash browns, toast with butter and jelly, some milk, and some juice. Apparently he did not eat any of it.

Thomas J. Grasso

two dozen steamed mussels; two dozen steamed clams; half-a-dozen barbecued spare ribs; a Burger King double cheeseburger; two strawberry milkshakes; half a pumpkin pie with whipped cream; and diced strawberries. Grasso also ordered a 16-ounce can of spaghetti and meatballs, later complaining that he asked for Spaghetti-Os, not just spaghetti.

James Edward Smith

He asked for a pile of dirt but the prison refused. He settled for a cup of yogurt.
