Each year there is a top grossing movie of that year. This means that it was the movie that made the most money that year. Now, there is a rumor going on that the movie that was the top grossing in your birth year is how your 2022 is going to go.

So to make this easier on you I am going to tell you the most popular movies hopefully in your year, and what they are about.

Starting with 2003, Finding Nemo was a Pixar masterpiece.

This movie has comedy, and joy. But also told a beautiful story of finding your way and moving with change. This year may be hard but all I want to say is “Just keep swimming.” Relieve your anxiety by finding a lovely best friend that has memory loss and likes to sing.

Moving on to 2004, Shrek 2 was a real money maker for DreamWorks beating both Spider-Man 2 and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. This movie has a growing loving relationship that went through trial and succeeded. Let the song “Livin La Vida Loca” define your 2022.  Find yourself a donkey and rely on each other to get through this year.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith was 2005’s most grossing movie. This movie was about defining boundaries, and going against the norm. You can apply this idea to your year, by setting boundaries. This movie also displays making difficult choices between right and wrong. But with this we see the prevail the characters experienced while still struggling with the implications of their preferred course of action. Let this show you to be less indecisive and more confident in your opinion.

2006’s most grossing movie was Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. This movie has selfless acts up and down. This year I urge you to venture out of your comfort zone and set goals, as this movie starts with the pursuit of survival. I also suggest showing the same dedication to your friends as is shown in this movie. Though this year may get crazy, rely on your resources and think it through.

Spider-Man 3 was 2007’s most grossing movie. Though mixed feelings were brought up regarding this movie it does have some wonderful defining features that can carry you through this year. This movie shows the opportunity to start looking at things from a different perspective. So, I urge you to try and see the best in people this year. Another big theme in this movie is, though you may make mistakes you have the chance to make things better. Apologizing is a great way to relieve yourself of stress.
