Even after everything there still is humanity left.  It’s super nice to be able to have someone in your corner even if no one else is willing to be. That person is different for each and every one of us. For a group of kids going to a school in Davenport, Iowa a teacher by the name of Mrs. Caffarini was their rock, the person they could lean on. Mrs. Caffarini saw that these kids were in need of just their basic needs and she decided out of the kindness of her heart that she would help them. She took the money out of her own pocket to make sure these kids had what they needed. Caffarini said that whatever kid walked through that door she treated each and every one as if they were her own children.  The fact that the teacher was willing to just go above and beyond for her students even though she didn’t have to is incredible. Sometimes kids just need someone in their lives to tell them that they matter and just have someone in their corner. For a group of kids in Davenport Mrs. Caffarini was just that! Caffarini is trying to fight the stigma of getting made fun of because they don’t have the things they need. She is trying her absolute best to try and help every kid that she possibly can.
