I don’t know about anyone else, but the fall sports season seemed to go by super fast! Since fall sports are over, it has come time for all winter sports to start competing.

Varsity Girls Basketball has a Thanksgiving tournament in Alwood all week this week. They played their first game on Monday against Galva. In what was a pretty close game the girls ended up being able to pull out a win. They also had another game last night where they played United. This was also a close game that the girls were able to win. The team is very happy to already have 2 wins under their belts this season. They will travel back to Alwood to play Rockridge tonight at 6, Knoxville Thursday night at 6, and sometime on Saturday depending on how they do the rest of the week.

Fresh Soph Girls Basketball will be kicking off their season December 2nd in Mercer County at 6 with a varsity game to follow.

The Boys Varsity Basketball Team hasn’t started competition just yet, but will be hosting their annual 10&32 tournament the week of Thanksgiving. Their first game of the tournament will be Tuesday November 26th at 7. They will be playing Abingdon- Avon.

Fresh Soph Boy Basketball will also be competing in the JV part of the 10&32 tournament. Their first game will be on Monday at 5:30 in the middle school gym.

The Wrestling Team will be having their first meet on November 26th in Macomb at 5:30.
