To celebrate Earth Day, many people decide to take it upon themselves to go out and pick up trash around their communities. This Earth Day, students from Coral Shores High in the Florida Keys went out to pick up trash and found a 22 pound bale of marijuana along the way. They immediately called the police who sent border patrol to pick up the bale. It is not known where the package came from or why it was left on the ground.

In other marijuana news, Colorado is working on getting a bill signed so that people in Colorado could have medicinal marijuana shipped to their house starting in 2020 and recreational marijuana starting in 2021. The bill has currently passed the senate and is now awaiting a signature from Colorado’s governor, Jared Polis. Of course this delivery is only legal if the transporter is licensed to do so. Deliveries will not be allowed to public businesses, including colleges. Will the governor sign the bill and possibly make room for new, legal jobs in the world of drugs?
