Whether you believe in global warming or not, the planets climate is changing over time without a doubt. After researching for a bit, I found that scientists predict that our planets temperature will continue to rise for years to come. The fact of the matter is, this can become very dangerous, not only to ecosystems, but also humans! Here are some effects the warming of our planet could have.

• More frequent and severe weather

This could happen because a warmer atmosphere allows storms to build up more precipitation in drier areas, and less rain in dry areas.

• Higher wildlife extinction rates

The animals will not be able to adapt quickly enough for them to be able to live and function correctly which will lead to some going extinct.

• Higher sea levels

The sea levels are expected to rise because the polar regions are warming up and ice caps are melting which causes flooding.

• Acidic oceans

The oceans will start to absorb the acidity of the oceans due to the excess emissions in the air.
