Trouble in the Restaurant Industry

Image result for pizzaAs winter continues to dredge on, many Quad City restaurants are begging people to eat out, despite the weather. These restaurants have been strongly affected by the loss of business due to the extreme cold and many inches of snow. One restaurant that is on the verge of closing is Miss Mamie’s. Miss Mamie’s has been located in Moline since 1992 and has been a great success up until now. If you’re someone who is fond of Miss Mamie’s food, be sure to go and support their business to help keep their doors open. Other restaurants in the QC area that have been slow this year include, Cinnamon n Sage, Sippi’s and Pizza and Subs. Pizza and Subs said the inclimate weather has stopped them from delivering pizzas and has therefore caused them to lose a good amount of business and money. Most businesses will be able to recover from the weather with the help of lots of extra business from here on out. If you’re feeling the urge to eat out, splurge, or just help your local businesses, I encourage you to do so. Check out WQAD for more information on hurting businesses.
