What’s a better way to kick off your holiday season than with family, food, and fun? The Quad Cities offers a lot of activities to keep you and your family busy this Thanksgiving Weekend!

On Thanksgiving Day, the YMCA hosts the annual Scott County Family Y McCarthy Bush Turkey Trot. There are many race options, so you won’t feel guilty about the delicious Thanksgiving dinner that you’ll enjoy later in the day! Register for the 5 Mile Run/Walk, 5k Run/Walk, or 1-Mile Family Fun Run.

Get into the holiday spirit with the Festival of TreesNovember 19-26, at the Rivercenter in Davenport. Festival of Trees is the annual fundraiser for Quad City Arts, a local nonprofit arts organization. The Festival of Trees is a time-honored and beloved Quad City tradition.

Tomorrow, November 18, 2017, marks the 25th anniversary of the largest helium balloon parade in the Midwest. The holiday parade is the perfect way to kick-off the holiday season in the Quad Cities.
