Easter Candy

As you all know, Easter is this Sunday. For most of us, when we hear the word “Easter”, we think of candy. There are hundreds of different Easter candies out there, and they are so hard to choose from. Here is a list of some of my top 3 favorite candies around Easter time. These are just my opinions. Please don’t be offended.

  1. Peeps: These classic baby chicken shaped marshmallows coated in sugar are just something nobody can mess with. They are so airy and delicious, and not to mention they are very fun and colorful. I don’t understand how anybody could dislike peeps. They are just a classic Easter candy. “Each Easter season, Americans buy more than 700 million Marshmallow Peeps, shaped like chicks, as well as Marshmallow Bunnies and Marshmallow Eggs, making them the most popular non-chocolate Easter candy”, according to nulty.com.
  2. Reese’s Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs: First of all, who could go wrong with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? But, to make them even better, Reese’s company decided to make them in the shape of eggs. These are the best Reese’s ever created, because there is more peanut butter filling inside, which makes them so much better than the normal ones. “The Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg is the Easter favorite in more states than any other”, according to expressnews.com.
  3. Godiva Milk Chocolate Bunny: There is something just so good about plain ol’ chocolate. It is a timeless classic that will never go out of style. But, the Godiva Chocolate Company is some of the best chocolate I have ever had. And, when they make it in the shape of a bunny, it is just so festive and fun. It fits in perfectly with Easter.

Again, these are simply my opinions. But in all seriousness, if you have never had any of these 3 candies listed above, I highly recommend that you go out and buy them so you can try them.
