Before Homecoming Restaurants: How to Choose Where to Go and Where NOT to Go

Drew DeKeyrel, Editor

Homecoming is just around the corner, and many people are planning on going to the dance. Since the dance goes from 8-11, there is time to kill before the dance. A popular pre-dance activity is eating at a restaurant. If you have not already decided on which restaurant to go to, if you are even going to one, then here are some helpful, courtesy of various juniors and seniors.

First off, do not go to any sort of fast food restaurant. This is one of the nights where you are going to dress up in formal clothes, so make the most of it and go to a more formal restaurant. Besides, fast food can get messy and you do not want food on your nice clothes.

Now, after you have ruled out all of the places you cannot go, it is time to decide on where you will go. You are going to want to make sure the place you go can accommodate for your group, whether it needs to accommodate for your group’s size or its dietary preferences, you want to make sure the restaurant you go to suits everyone. You do not want have a member of your group not liking the type of food and choosing the chicken strips at a Mexican restaurant. Everyone wants this to be a fun night, so make sure everyone is fine with the food. You also might have to make a reservation at a restaurant if it is a popular one, or if you have a large group.
