Senior Playlist

Graduation is quickly approaching, so the seniors don’t have much time left together. We are counting down the days until our last day. (It’s 8 days) I’ve got a playlist for all of our moments from our last day at school, to graduation parties.

“The Climb” by Miley Cyrus. This song is a great inspiration for us as we will go off into the real world, and it will help give us some incentive to keep going.
“My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. This song is definitely saying what our parents are thinking. They are going to wish for the best for us.
“Breakaway” by Kelly Clarkson. This song is about breaking away from your past and growing to your full potential. That is what we will be doing after graduation, so this song will definitely explain our thoughts.
“I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack. This song is about taking chances, following your dreams, and staying grounded. This is what I hope happens to all of us as we leave high school, so this song fits well.
“Time of Our Lives” by Pitbull, ft. Ne-Yo. This song is definitely a jam for a graduation party. It definitely is about having the time of your life, and we should at our graduation parties.
“Hey Look Ma, I Made It” by Panic! At the Disco. This is something that we will definitely say after we graduate. We never thought that we’d get here, but here we are.
“I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts. This song tells us that our friends will always be there for us, and that’s important to know.
“High School Musical” from High School Musical 3: Senior Year. I know that to some this may be cringy, but this song is seriously a good graduation song. It’s all about graduation, and holding onto the good memories you’ve had over the years.
“Go The Distance” from Hercules. This song is all about going the extra mile to accomplish your dreams, and that is what we will have to do as we go into the real world. We will have to go the distance to make our dreams come true.
“On My Way” from Brother Bear. This song talks about how you are on your way, and no one can stop you. This is something that we will need to be reminded of in tough times. We will need to believe that no one can stop us from achieving our dreams.
“The Rest of My Life” from Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. This one may seem super cringy, but it is so true for right now. It talks about the rest of your life starting now, and you are going to have to hold on tight during hard times. You can’t give up when things get hard, otherwise, you won’t accomplish your dreams.
