BeReal is the newest social media app to gain popularity. The app’s intentions are to show people what you do in your normal life without filters. The app works by giving you 2 minutes to post a picture of whatever you’re doing at the time. A picture is taken from your front and rear camera. There’s no editing and you can’t view others posts until you upload your own. Anything posted will be deleted after 24 hours and only you can see your older posts. You can only post one time a day. Only your friends will see your posts unless you want to upload publicly. 

I highly recommend this app. You can challenge your friends to see who will post on time. It’s a great way to keep in touch with others. Don’t worry about how you look and try to be as real as possible. The app is supposed to be fun so don’t stress if you don’t get the perfect photo. Personally, I love the app and feel it’s a great way to see what others are doing throughout the day. I like that the app challenges you to try to take a picture on time and even try to be the first. When asking Hailey about the app she said, “I feel great about it.” “I think it’s fun and I like seeing what everyone’s doing at a random point everyday,” kasey explained.  If you were thinking about downloading the app this is your sign.
