Zodiac signs were first discovered by the Greeks while they were stargazing. They found that these stars moved in a certain pattern, and they could eventually predict seasons, and eclipses from them. The Greeks also used them to make up their calendar. Zodiac signs are from this belt of stars, and each different sign comes from a certain 9 degrees on each side of an area in the belt.

Aries is the first sign at degree 0. The symbol is the ram. The people with this sign were born from March 21 – April 20. People who are Aries are confident and fiery, but may butt heads with others because they are impatient and brutally honest. Some celebrities that are Aries are Chance the Rapper, Eddie Murphy, Elton John, Emma Watson, Kate Hudson, Lady Gaga, and Reese Witherspoon.

Taurus is the second sign at 30 degrees. The symbol is the bull. The people with this sign were born from April 21 – May 21. People who are Taurus are loyal and persistent, but are stereotyped to be lazy and bullheaded. Gemini is the third sign at 60 degrees. The symbol is the twins. The people with this sign were born from May 22 – June 21. People who are Gemini are highly intelligent, and sociable, however can be superficial and indecisive. The fourth sign is Cancer at 90 degrees, and the symbol is the crab. The people with this sign were born from June 22 – July 21. Cancers are charitable and loyal, but are blunt and don’t like to leave their comfort zone.
