With the weather picking up and getting nicer, this means that many events are coming up where you will have to dress up for, such as graduations, weddings, award ceremonies, etc. Many girls will think they have to get a whole new outfit for each occasion, which is normal. Yet, many people will want to get the latest trend and look their best. These next few paragraphs talk about things to wear when you want to dress up this summer.

Stripes and Buttons- When you go searching for a cute sundress at any store, you’ll see many stripes and buttons. This seems to be the trend this summer and rightfully so as it’s super cute! They turn a rather simplistic dress and give it some flare. Yet, stripes can also be a huge downer on your outfit. Horizontal stripes often make you look bigger and fatter, while vertical stripes make you seem slimmer.

Paper tie Pants- If you are the type of girl who doesn’t typically enjoy wearing dresses or skirts, this trend is the one for you! Paper tie pants are in this summer. They look cute with prints on them and then paired with a solid colored top and sandals. These pants cropped to a midlength give them a different dimensional look than normal pants, which always make them look cute, especially on girls with longer legs. There are also shorts that are designed this way.

Jean skirts- This is an oldie but a goodie! Many people in the 80’s wore jean skirts and made it a popular trend that is again popular now. They can be dressed up or just worn casually. It would be cute if you paired the skirt with converse, and a scrunchie if you’re going for the full 80’s look.
