On Saturday April 27th, a crane fell from the top of a building in Seattle, Washington due to high winds. In total, 4 people were killed. Sarah Wong who was a freshman at Seattle Pacific University studying nursing was killed. Sarah was one of two people killed inside the cars that were smashed by the crane. There was also two crane operators killed in the accident. Three other people, including a 25 year old mother and her 4 month old baby, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Dan Martin, the President of Seattle Pacific stated on Twitter, “She was a bright light on our campus and will be greatly missed. As a president, I grieve over this tragic loss and as a parent, I especially lift Sarah’s parents up in prayer.” Many people say she was someone who was always nice to everyone and lit up the room.
