Orion-Sherrard girls soccer takes the high road for the 2019 season. Now 10-1, the team has had a shutout every game this season, except two games. The past two weekends O-S United has participated in all day tournaments. Hosting the Orion-Sherrard invitational, the girls placed first after wins over La-Salle Peru , Peoria Christian, and Peoria Richwoods. This past weekend the team traveled to Princeton where they received 3rd place, after losing to Dixon. Also this season, senior Karsyn Mccunn received pacesetter. Senior defender Rachel Blackert said the teams success has contributed to working as a unit. “Working as a whole team during practices has really payed of to when it comes to games.” Blackert said. Tonight, O-S United will play Alleman (4-2-1) at the Alleman complex at 6. Come support!
