Top 5 NFL Teams Coming Into 2019

5. Los Angeles Rams:

The Rams are the defending NFC champions, but they have ran into a few issues this offseason. The Rams are likely going to lose Suh due to free agency. Todd Gurley is also a question mark due to his health issues that came to light in the 2018 playoffs. The Rams will still be a quality team, but they will take a step back this year.

4. Kansas City Chiefs:

The Chiefs are red hot coming off of last season’s success. They have lost many defensive players in free agency, but they will still boast an offense that can score any number of points. With Mahomes at quarterback, they will always be a team to contend with.

3. New Orleans Saints:

The Saints have always been a team that has had potential but usually never reached it. This year is different for the Saints, though. Their offense is restocked and completely ready to outscore anyone they face. Their defense has been improving every year, and under the leadership of Sean Peyton and Drew Brees, they will be a dangerous team.

2.  Los Angeles Chargers:

The Chargers had everything they needed last season except for quality experience in key positions. During this offseason they have managed to resign many of their key players and have added depth their defense. The Chargers have arguably the best passing attack in the league lead by Phillip Rivers. The Chargers are poised for success once again, and all they have to do is grab it.

1.  New England Patriots:

As difficult as it is to say, the Patriots will again be the best team in the league. Their coaching is second to none and they always find productive players that give everything they have to the team. They may not have the most successful regular season, but by the playoffs, they will be an unbeatable machine.
