For many of us, we love supporting our friends, but why would someone want to sit outside for hours in the cold watching people run when you could be warm and inside? Indoor track is the solution to your problems! You now have 2 meets left to make it out to an indoor event so you can watch your friends run, jump, and throw before the outdoor cold hits. These meets consist of the Titan Indoor Invite Tuesday the 12th at Augie, then the Galesburg High School Invite is the 16th at Monmouth College. The indoor state meet will be in Bloomington IL, Friday the 22nd. In the last indoor meet, The Rock Island Indoor Invite, Danielle Taets placed first in the 55m hurdles, as well as first in triple jump. Logan placed first with a throw of 49.9 while breaking the school record twice. This is just the start to an amazing indoor season full of great athletes so be sure to come out and watch your friends while it’s still warm!
