Sadies

Katie Noyd, Journalist

Sadies is a week away folks and if you’re anything like 80% of America you have probably procrastinated until now to get ready! Our Sadies will be held at the high school on Saturday night of February 23 from 7-10 p.m. The Sadies dance is a more casual night where the ladies wear nice dresses or skirts. For those who don’t know it is not as extravagant as homecoming with flowers and super fancy dresses, but, instead, it’s casual and comfortable. Many ladies this year have already found some cheap, cute, and comfy dresses from the following stores; Dillards, Von Maur, Ross, Kohls, and even old dresses from friends. These all provide cheap, cute outfits and dresses for any occasion that work perfectly for Sadies.

If you have already asked your date and you have a dress your next step is where to eat. Keeping in mind Sadies is cute and casual, here are some cheap, yet nice ideas for you and your group; TGI Fridays, Barrel House, Texas Roadhouse, Steel Plow, Maple Street, Los Agaves, Taco Bell, and Chick-fil-A. Being outside makes pictures and travel very difficult due to such harsh and cold weather, however, indoor pictures at the J-Bar, The Radisson, Lavender Crest, or your everyday hotels often times have beautiful lobbies. Don’t wait a second longer and use these tips and ideas to make your Sadies perfect!
