Fresh off his first studio album, STOKELEY, Ski Mask the Slump God seems to be making a solid name for himself in the music industry. Ski Mask or better known by his actual name of Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne, started his career of rapping in 2014 where he mainly performed with XXXTentaicon and their group Members Only. Gouldbourne and XXXTentacion met in a Florida juvenile detention center where they were both incarcerated. Before his debut album, Gouldbourne released a few mixtapes and two EPs. This caught the eye of XXL Magazine, they later named Gouldbourne to the 2018 Freshman Class. Along with this honor, he has collaborated with some big name artists such as Trippie Redd, Lil Yachty, and Juice WRLD.

Now for his music. In my opinion, Ski Mask has one of the most unique flows in the industry, he raps in such a way with such high intensity and speed it is just something to behold. Also Ski drops little pop culture references into his songs which make them much more enjoyable when he references them. I can recommend a few songs mainly from his newly released album and past two mixtapes. Unlike some artists, Ski has some bad songs this although is to be expected from a young artist. I can recommend the songs, ¨Like A Soccer Mom” from Slaps For My Drop-Top Mini-Van, “COOLEST MONKEY IN THE JUNGLE” and “DoIHaveTheSause?” from BEWARE THE BOOK OF ELI. The last songs I can recommend come from STOKELEY, “Nuketown”(featuring Juice WRLD), “Foot Fungus”, and “Faucet Failure.”
