Winter Feels

Winter Feels

Claire McLoone, Writer

Fun and games have come to an end. These past few weeks were a great second winter break, however it is time to start getting back into the swing of things. Yes, I know this is easier said than done. Yes, going back to school 5 days a week, waking back up early, and going through the 8 hours of exhausting school is a big change from what we started to get accustomed to these past weeks. And with all that comes some serious stress. There are so many ways to fall into your feels. The winter blues and burnouts are real things. Just remember that it is going to be okay. Take a deep breath(or two) and focus on what’s important. Remember there’s no shame in taking a step back from all the things that have been thrown at you. No matter how little time you feel like you have, it only takes a couple minutes to talk your problems out with friends or family. Just do your thing at your own pace these next few months. No matter how big the problem may seem today, it’ll be so small in a couple months when school gets let out. Seniors, we only have 102 days left ( including weekends) so we can do this!

I also saw online a rule of 5: If it won’t matter in 5 years, then don’t stress about it now.
