Over winter break, the OHS wrestlers started the second half of their season by attending one of their biggest tournaments. Princeton High School hosted the 56th annual Princeton Invitational Tournament where 34 teams attended the two day tournament on Friday, January 4th and Saturday, January 5th. The Orion wrestling team was quite successful with their strong line up. Almost all wrestlers placed, but some fell short during wrestlebacks and were eliminated after two loses. The wrestlers that did place were Ethan Meisenburg (4th),  Noah Schnerre (4th), Mason Loete (5th), Ryan Wegerer (7th), Trent Scharpman (4th), Josh Fair (3rd), Chad Banfield (4th), and Logan Lee (1st). These individual placings allowed Orion the opportunity to have a high amount of points for an exceptional placing. Although, their 2nd placing at the tournament was beyond what the team thought they could achieve, it was the best placing the Charger wrestling program has ever had at the P.I.T.
