Over break our girls basketball team played many games in their Christmas tournament and various other games. In the tournament the girls ended with a 3-2 record for that week. Their two losses were to Bureau Valley and Knoxville, after keeping the games closer than they have been in the past few years. The team ended the tournament in 4th place and Senior Danielle Taets ended the tournament with a new school record of 38 points in a single game.

Outside of the tournament the team also played East Dubuque, taking another loss, to end their break with a final record of 12-7.

Tonight there is a game in Rockridge (JV starts at 5:30pm, Varsity will follow) and a home game on Wednesday (JV starting at 5:30pm, Varsity will follow). Be sure to come out and support the team before they start Regionals on February 4th.
