As we all walk in the doors our freshmen year, we can’t wait to be done with high school and move on to the real world. Looking back now, at the time I wanted to be done too, but now I realized that the time has flown by and next year my class will be seniors and we will be going into the workforce or going to college. Don’t get me wrong, I like school just as much as the next person, but being out in the real world can also be terrifying. The whole point of this isn’t to make you want to stay in high school forever, but more to just make you take a second to appreciate the time you have right now with the people around you. Before you know it, you will be getting married and having kids. You may never see the people that you see everyday ever again. Make sure that today you take a second to look around you and appreciate the little things because everything can change in a matter of seconds, or even a few short years.
