DUMMY BOY, released by American rapper Daniel Hernandez, also known as 6ix9ine or Tekashi69, is the first studio album to be released by the artist. Hernandez has been the center of controversy as of late. The DUMMY BOY album was supposed to be released on November 23, 2018, but the release was postponed until November 27th because of the controversial arrest of the rapper. Hernandez is being arrested on charges of racketeering, gun charges, conspiracy to murder, and armed robbery. These charges will probably put Hernandez in, jail possibly for life.

Anyway, the album has a total of 13 tracks and a run time of 34 minutes and 30 seconds. The album also includes many features from some very big artists including Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Tory Lanez, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie. However, the features on this album seem to take over a sort of lead role in the songs. For example, on the track ¨MAMA¨, the features, Nicki Minaj and Kanye West have the same amount of verses as 6ix9ine. It just feels a feature should have one verse or shorter while the main artist gets most of the track.

The tracks on the album, apart from having features that take over the track, are actually very good. 6ix9ine has a very distinct rapping style that, while loud and obnoxious, can really get someone hyped. The songs tend to have a very high intensity and this can be seen on DUMMY BOY lyrics and the beats produced for the tracks. The songs are loud but definitely get the room very hyped and ready to go.

Overall, the album contains amazing features who seem to take over the track the are featured on. The hype lyrics and intense beats make up for this. All-in-all, I recommend this album to anyone and give it a solid 7/10.
