The Quad Cities annual Festival of Trees is officially in full swing. Their opening date was yesterday, November 15th, and the event will continue through November 25th. The festival is held in the River Center in downtown Davenport. The complex is transformed into a winter wonderland featuring decorated trees, music, the festival express train and gingerbread houses. The event kicks off the holiday season with the Festival of Trees parade this Saturday starting at 10am! This is the largest helium-balloon parade in the Midwest! Festival of trees is perfect for all ages and all proceeds go to Quad City Arts.
