The Orion softball team had been off the field for a little over a week but recently got back into play after many rain cancellations. The team played Morrison last night and suffered a tough loss. Despite this recent defeat, the softball team has high hopes for the rest of the season as they are already doing better than last year. The girls are seated third for regionals, right behind Rockridge and Brimfield, and ahead of Sherrard. This week is packed full of games. The softball team plays Rockridge Thursday, St. Bede on Friday, and Hall on Saturday in a doubleheader.
