Thanksgiving break is coming up soon, meaning that this week is going to be busy. Below is a list of things that will be going on either this week or next.

  1. Girls basketball has their first games this week. The varsity team will be playing in the Ridgewood Thanksgiving Tournament on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in Woodhull. Excited to begin the season, Junior member, Olivia Farwell, said, “I think the season should be successful. We have a very talented team who works really well together and we feed off of each other well.”
  2. Next week, there is only school on Monday and a half of Tuesday. The rest of the week we have off for Thanksgiving break.
  3. Juniors- On the half day of Tuesday, November 20th, there will be a PSAT held right after school.
  4. The varsity boys basketball team has their first games next week, playing in the Orion Tip-Off Classic. They play Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Showing confidence in his team, Junior member, Ryan Jungwirth, said, “I think the season will go well. We don’t have much height, so facing bigger teams will be tough, but I think our speed will help us beat them.”
  5. The wrestling team will also begin their season next Tuesday at a meet in Macomb.
