This past Saturday, the Orion Charger football team took on a rival school, Rockridge. With the final score being 21-17, it was definitely a nail-biter.

To start the game, the Chargers took the lead 7-0 and kept that the entire first quarter. In the second quarter, the Rockets tied up the score 7-7, but the Chargers responded soon after, taking back the lead, 14-7. The Rockets ended up kicking a field goal, ending the first half with a score of 14-10.

In the second half, the score remained the same in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Rockets scored putting them up, 17-14, only 1:34 left in the game. However, the Orion Chargers, making it look easy, scored putting them back up 21-17. They prevented the other team from scoring within the last 30 seconds to win the game with a final score of 21-17.

The boys will play again this Saturday at home against Eastland-Pearl City at 1pm. Everyone come out and support!
