Last night, the Orion Girls’ Volleyball team took on the Rockridge Rockets in the Regional Championship! With a rugged start to the night, the Orion girls lost the first set but came back to own their home court the last two sets. The first game, their score was 19-25,  the second was 25-17, and the third 25-19. This is Orion’s 7th straight Regional Championship title in volleyball. To say the least, the girls were proud to carry on the tradition.

Monday, the team will take on Lena-Winslow in Riverdale for the first round of sectionals. Then, the winner of that game will advance on to play Wednesday in Riverdale. Be sure to come to Riverdale next Monday to watch a tough game!
