A Tradition Continues

On Monday, the class of 2019 gathered at the graffiti barn off of Osco Road and 1300th Avenue in Henry County for one event that every senior looks forward to, painting the barn. Every homecoming, it is a tradition that seniors paint the old corn crib black with their names and graduating class in spray paint. The seniors all wear a plain white shirt and turn it into a colorful shirt full of handprints, and phrases. Throughout the years classes in the past have placed choice phrases on the shirts which have resulted in seniors not being allowed to wear them to school. Although past classes have ruined the fun of wearing the shirts to school, the fun of spray painting the barn still continues.
