PARENTAL ADVISORY: EXPLICIT CONTENT

Again in my opinion there were no new albums coming out worth reviewing this week. However, there is a new single by rapper Lil Uzi Vert. Uzi Vert has been been relatively quiet ever since the release of his album Luv is Rage 2 back in August of last year. So this new single has been much awaited by many fans including myself.

The new single titled “New Patek” has a total runtime of five minutes and forty-three seconds (5:43). You may be asking how can one song this long of a runtime? Well the song has a total of four verses. This might be a good sign of a good song but the song stats to get repetitive with a chorus or a bridge in between each verse. Sometimes they have both a chorus and a bridge. The song gets very repetitive and could do without the last verse or two but still a good song. I am excited to see where Lil Uzi Vert goes after this. I give the single a 5/10.
