Charger Golf Making Progress

Claire McLoone

Starting only a little over a month ago, charger golf has come a long way. This year, the girls golf team has the highest number of participants ever. There is also a high number of newcomers, six of the ten girls on the team started the season without even swinging a golf club before. Girls Charger Golf has a new face, with a new team and a new coach. After over a week break of no practice due to rain, the girls had 3 back to back meets. The girls started the long week on Monday at Chapel Hill in Princeton then continued to the last home meet of the season on Tuesday. Yesterday, the girls went to Oak Run in Dehinda, Illinois where they placed 2nd. With a couple weeks left in the season, there is still a lot of room for improvement so stay tuned!
