If you were hoping for anything different from several other shark movies, you might be disappointed. Just like in Jaws, the people are in a boat, they get attacked, they fall off of the boat, then they get back on the boat. Despite having a repetitive pattern to it, the producers do deserve credit for the look of the shark. Creating a shark that big and having it look at all realistic is often a difficult task, but the shark that they created looks relatively close to what I’d expect a megalodon to look like. Besides the main focus being the shark, they did a good job on putting a good back story on it and actually having a plot. I’d recommend this movie to anyone who is fascinated by underwater creatures, or to just anyone who wants to see a decent movie, because you do get to see a little bit more than just a giant shark. Overall, I’d give the movie a 7 out of 10.
