November is a great month for kids to do fall-related activities. According to studies, fun activities increase a child’s motivation drive, which can also boost their energy. It’s extremely essential for students to take time by doing enjoyable physical activities. With that being said, here’s a list of ten fun, November-themed activities that are child friendly.

  • Decorate for Thanksgiving

It’s crucial to keep holiday spirits high, do this by getting fun thanksgiving decorations. It could be things such as mini pumpkins, pretty tablecloth, a fall-themed wreath, or even fall scented candles. 

  • Join a Turkey Trot 

Get together a group of friends and family for this seasonal run. This can be a great way to partake in exercise that can be executed in a fun way, with family and friends! 

  • Begin Holiday Gift Shopping

Yes, it may be a little early for this, but a month before is a great time to start planning your gift ideas. By doing this, you limit your time to procrastinate. 

  • Come up with a New Year’s Resolution

Having a New Year’s Resolution can utilize self-efficiency and determination. Aspiring a goal and following through with it can allow you to have a sense of accomplishment and control in what’s happening in your life. 

  • Binge-Watch Thanksgiving, or Fall, Themed Movies or Episodes of a Show

By watching fall themed movies and shows, you’re more guaranteed to keep your holiday spirits up. Fall movies and shows could be Hocus Pocus, Gilmore Girls, Halloweentown, Twilight, or Practical Magic. 

  • Host a “Friendsgiving”

Planning a Friendgiving is a great opportunity to bring together all your friends for a fun, casual dinner. This is an adequate way to encourage more bonding time amongst all of your friends.

Admiring a list of things you’re grateful for is a perfect way to reflect on things surrounding you. Doing this also allows you to practice gratitude.

Creating a drawing of a turkey made from your hand, is a fun and open-ended activity that anyone can do. This could be a great time to bond with your friends and family.

Pumpkin Pie is a delicious, fall dessert. Making this early is also a great way to practice your baking skills for your Thanksgiving dinner.

Fall-themed sweaters are a stylish fashion statement during the colder months. These are also a good way to keep yourself warm from the cold weather.
