It’s been 5 weeks since Orion-Sherrard’s season opener. The team has obtained a record of 6-9-1. The boys added another loss to their record as they lost Monday’s home non-conference game against Alleman 1-3. The only goal was yet again produced by the sophomore class. Orion’s Jacob Kruse scored against the Pioneers with an assist from Orion’s Caleb Spranger. Freshman goalkeeper, Josh Spranger, had a total of 5 saves during the Alleman game. Yesterday, the boys hit the road for a non-conference game in Macomb. The end score 1-5 was a defeat for United. Sherrard sophomore, Jordan Maynard, scored in the 36th minute of the game. Josh Spranger had a total of 4 saves. This weekend the boys have a home tournament at Charger field. United starts out the day playing La-Salle-Peru at 9 a.m. following that game they play Canton at 10 a.m. Make sure to come out and support!
