Homecoming is important to a lot of people. Allie Nickel said “It gives girls a day to slay “, so I decided to interview a few people to see what they think about homecoming. While interviewing, I found that Levi Palmer and Gage Painter both don’t know what they feel about homecoming. Levi feels it is necessary while Gage adds, “I get down with it”. Levi said, “I feel like it should be less strict…just let us have fun”. I originally thought that people go to homecoming to dance, but these interviews proved me half wrong. Gage and Lane both said that they don’t necessarily like to dance at dances/homecoming but outside of that they dance a little or as Lane calls it getting “a little boogie on” and Gage said “I can bust some moves”, while Delaney Tapscott said yes she likes to dance at home and Levi said “I’ve got moves bro. Im gonna be out on the dance floor bro.” All of the people I interviewed had different tastes in music. Levi likes rock, heavy metal, and music like king von. Delaney likes “good pop music” and a little bit of slow music. Lane likes Rap, country, and a little bit of hip hop music. Gage just really likes rap music. All four of them went to homecoming and they all had dates and went with their girlfriends/boyfriends. All also agreed that this year’s homecoming was better than last year’s dance/homecoming. Lane said that he wasn’t a huge fan of last year’s homecoming because of how cold it was. They said that the decorations are really good this year. Lane added, “The Senior hall is a little naked but the commons look good”. If Gage could pick next year’s theme he would like the beach, if Lane could pick next years theme he would pick pirates with gold and things, and if Levi could pick he would do spooky things like halloween themed things. If you wanted to know I asked all of them “dogs or cats?” They all answered dogs. That just means that dogs are better than cats.
