Cross Country is a sport many people think is just running, and yes we run. But the Cross Country team is not just a place where you run but you grow a family. You do not have to be a star runner or fast runner to enjoy this sport. We make running fun, and will make you fall in love with the sport by the time it’s over. Here are a few benefits you can gain from running Cross Country this next Fall 2022.

You are in other sports that require you to stay in shape. Join Cross Country to help you stay in shape and have fun at the same time. I guarantee you will be in your best shape by the end of the season. The team also lifts at the end of some practices so you can continue lifting in the Orion weight room.

You can meet people from different grades. I became really good friends with everyone on the team young and old, and running together is a really good bonding time for people. I have made forever friends, because everyone on the team is all so friendly. We celebrate everyone’s success and are happy for everyone no matter what times they run.

Running is very good for you and has great health benefits. Running helps with strengthening muscles, releves any stress you might have from school, is good for your lungs, has a healthy heart, strong bones, and can help you lose weight.
