Red Flags in People

Red Flags in People

Gracie McHenry, Writer

A red flag in a person or relationship is a sign, action, or personal thing that makes you want to immediately stop any and all communication with the person. Red flags are the worst and there are a lot of them. These are some of the top red flags in my book.

  • Rude to restaurant workers
    • If people don’t tip servers at restaurants, that’s a red flag. The servers are there to try to give you the best service you can. If you’re rude, they’re going to be rude back. Not tipping, just as bad as being rude. Servers make their living off of tips; be nice.
  • Loud exhaust
    • When you’re driving down the street and the people who are stopped then speed off to make their exhaust loud. Is so annoying. No one thinks you’re cooler for it. Everyone just gets annoyed.
  • Tennis shoes with no socks
    • You’ll have smelly feet. Just wear socks.
  • Mullet
    • Enough said.
  • Sagging pants
    • No one thinks sagging is cute. We don’t want to see your underwear. Sagging is a really big red flag, but sagging with a belt is even worse. Like at that point, why is the belt even there?
  • Only has crazy ex’s
    • If you meet someone and you like them, you will wanna know about their past relationships. If they mention that all of their exes are crazy you may wanna steer away. If they don’t have a single good relationship where things were just fine and they’ve moved on, that is suspicious. Most likely it’s them making everyone else look or go crazy, and you could be next on the list.
