With summer approaching many of us will have a lot more free time. Personally, I go for crafting as one of my go to down time activities. There are a lot of crafts out there. Some of my favorites are the following.

Crocheting:

I found this craft a few years ago. Crocheting has a lot of possibilities, from creating little plushies, blankets, hats, slippers, and so much more. 

You Will Need The Following 

• A crocheting hook 
• Yarn
• Patience 

Knitting:

I have just recently found this craft. This craft is not just for your grandma. Knitting has a wide community of all ages. 

You Will Need The Following

• Two knitting needles 
• Yarn
• A great show to watch 

Embroidery:

This craft is top of my list. I have tried a lot of crafts in my time, but this is the only one that I feel is the best. This craft is great for personalizing clothing items. This also has the opportunity to teach you great life skills. Since learning to embroider I have been able to fix ripped pants, torn socks, and much more. 

You Will Need The Following 

• A hoop 
• An embroidery needle 
• String 
• Fabric

Beret Clips 

 This is one craft that has been around for a while for me. Since I was little, I have tried to personalize my hair accessories. One way I do this is to take a bland accessory and add some flair. I love using leftover material from crafts that my siblings never used and hot gluing them to blank metal beret clips. I also used fake pearls, ribbons, yarn, etc.

You Will Need The Following 

• Blank beret clip 
• Hot glue gun 
• Extra craft material
