Alec Noyd, Writer

It’s 2022 and its been a rough year for covid already, but that doesn’t stop us from getting new video games this year!

Dying Light 2 – Dying light 2 is the sequel to Dying light if you couldn’t tell. In this game you are a survivor in an open world zombie apocalypse with only one goal which is to survive. Dying light was famous for its parkour and combat. All of these aspects return in the new game. The game developers say that the game will stretch to about 30 hours to beat the game. Since Dying light 2 is based 22 years after the first game with new characters this allows new people to play without having to play the first one.

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga –  Lego star wars will be released this April and is the sixth Lego star wars game. Lego Star wars has been around for a long time following the multiple stories of each movie. The game offers new mechanics making the game more fun and engaging to play. This game might be lego which makes it look childish, but nothing is more fun than to play in the movies you love.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League – The suicide squad is based off of a movie where a group of villains must team up to save the world. An alien army has taken control of the justice league leaving you to work with the team to stop superman who has turned evil. The game follows 4 characters to play as (Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark) with the game offering to either play the game solo or with friends. Like the movie this game will be very violent and is said to be released this summer.

Ark 2 – Ark 2 follows the first game which came out 12 years ago. In this game you play as Vin Diesel in a brutal Dinosaur survival world where you can tame, train, and fight dinosaurs. The game is full of massive jungle and desert environments. This new game is  said to go on from 300-1000 hours to finish the game and more. Ark is very hard and tedious to play in order to get good. The developer says it will be basically the same game with more dinosaurs and unforgiving terrain.
