I know an average person gets hurt multiple times a day and many of those are because we do pretty dumb things. This week I asked a few people what was the dumbest way they’ve ever been hurt. 

Bianca Schnerre- “I fell off of a wagon that my brother was pulling and hit my head on the concrete sidewalk. I had to go to the ER and then rode in an ambulance to a different hospital where they treated me for a concussion.”

Ava Bollinger- “I had a rubber hammer in my hand from disassembling the trampoline and I decided to throw it up in the air and catch it. I didn’t catch it. It came back down on my face and I got a bloody nose big time. I haven’t done that since.”

Kaitlyn Wilburn- “I was sitting on the ground playing with Lincoln Logs and I reached over to grab a piece and I threw my back out. I was immobile for 2 days.”

Olivia Thomsen – “I was sitting in a little kid folding chair watching TV on Valentines day. I was messing around trying to fold myself in the chair, but then I got my finger stuck in the folding part of the chair. It cut open my finger, and  I was gushing blood. I had to get stitches.”

Gracie McHenry- “My sister and her friend were chasing me, while I was riding a bike and rode over a pebble and then flipped over the handlebars and broke my nose, sprained something in my leg, and got a concussion. I had to lay in the road for like 45 minutes because a trailer blocked my mom’s view of me so she didn’t know anything happened. So basically I’m a god.”

Hayley Vanduyne- “In 5th grade, I was dancing in my kitchen. I went to slide (for a big finish) and I broke the outer bone of my foot.”

Kenadi Sovey- “When I was about 6 or 7 I was playing ‘tag’ with my siblings and I ran straight into a tree, cracking my head open. The worst part was that I was looking straight at the tree for about 5 seconds before I ran into it.”
