Covid Pandemic Could End This Year?

The Coronavirus has been on a hot spree through the last 2 years, ruining lives and making others difficult, but according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the virus will very well soon turn into an endemic. To be clear, there is no way we’ll be able to get rid of the virus, but make it so it minimizes health risks and effectiveness.

As the CoronaVirus hits 2 years people are tired of hearing about it on the news constantly. People wearing masks around stores still haven’t sinked into people yet. Host Tucker Carlson briefly talked about Covid saying, ¨If you find yourself living in a place where people are still talking about Covid nonstop two years in, it is time to move.¨  Tucker believes since Covid has gone on for so long, should it really be talked about and stressed to this extent? is he right? According to Vox.com, The lack of vaccinations stems from politics between democrats and republicans, being the biggest divider. Early in the pandemic, we were all pretty much on the same page, and later switched to the people following their own personal leaders.

As of Thursday, The CDC announced that only 64% of the United States is vaccinated against combating the virus. Professor Aubree Gordon explains getting vaccinated will help  build a good immunity  to fight the virus over the years like influenza. Scientists believe that if countries are able to get the vaccination rate to 70% we will be on the right path to avoiding this. 2022 will be the turning point for Covid-19.
