Adele’s new album “30” is labeled an emotional time stamp for the thirty-three year old singer. She’s been working on the album for a total of six years, but decided to name the album “30” after her split from Simon Konecki to follow the pattern for her previous albums. Each album marks an emotional point in her life, and each album is a vocal masterpiece.

The album is set to release November 19 of this year, with song titles such as “My Little Love,” “To Be Loved,” “Love Is A Love,” and the song we all know and love, “Easy On Me.” Adele told Vogue UK that “Easy On Me” was the first song she wrote for the album, and she didn’t write anything for six months after that because she believed she’d “said it all.”

Adele also explains to Vogue UK that she doesn’t see the album as a “divorce album.” She says, “It was more about me divorcing myself,” she also says the album is about “self destruction,” but also about “self reflection” and change. Though, later in an Instagram live, after being asked what the album is about she said, “Divorce babe, divorce.”

Whether you’re a fan of the singer or not, you have to give it up for the woman, she’s an amazing singer who knows just how to pull the heartstrings.
