Marvel v. D.C.

Marvel v. D.C.

In the debate of Marvel v.s. DC it’s hard for me to say which side I’m on. Movie wise Marvel 100%. The Marvel movies are easier to watch, although I haven’t watched as many DC movies because they are not as interesting to me. TV show wise DC is definitely winning in mainly because they don’t have much to compete with. I like shows where it’s not completely revolved on one single character or story line. Like with The Flash, the story line does obviously revolve around The Flash but it also revolves around others like Killer Frost and Thawne.

In a battle the fight would definitely be close, DC has more well known villains and Marvel has more well known superheroes. I think if you did Hero v.s. Hero and Villain v.s. Villain, Marvel would win in the hero category and DC would win in the Villain category. Marvel does definitely focus more on the hero aspect of making sure their story is told not as much as the villains, like Marvel doesn’t have any stand alone villain movies. DC is the opposite. DC has more villain backstories and like to describe why that villain is the way they are, even with their hero movies.

My favorite hero in Marvel is probably Black Widow because there aren’t many girl superheroes. She also has been through so much it shows that no matter what you go through and where you start you can achieve anything. It’s hard to say which hero I like best for DC because a lot of heroes go towards the villain side and vice versa. Also there is the multiverse story line in the shows and comics.
