Paris, France

U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Vacation Destinations ranking Paris is the top ranked. Probably due to it being known as ¨The city of Love¨. Bringing in people from all over the world, with all age groups. If you ever get the chance to go to Paris you obviously have to go see the Eiffel tower. Musée d’Orsay is also a very recommended place to go. It’s a museum that was built between 1898 and 1900. IN the museum there are sections for paintings, sculptures, photography and even furniture.

 

Cheapest place to visit:

Central America

If you go to Central America you can roam ancient ruin, hike through forests, surf, eat delicious food. You can find a very budget friendly around $15 per night. Many people recommend doing a walk through of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, Costa Rica. Where you can see over 2,500 different kinds of plants, 100 mammal breeds, and 400 bird species.

 

Place in the US:

New Orleans

This town is full of history including the The National WWII museum. In order to view the entire museum it takes around 2-3 hours. New Orleans is home to this museum because the LCVP or Higgins boat, the major boat that brought US soldiers ashore in WWII, was produced in New Orleans. Although the pricing is high at around 30 dollars, so is the information.

 

Closest place to visit:

Chicago, Illinois

The Art Institute, is home to the American Gothic, open from 11am-6pm, admissions are around 25 dollars. Another fun thing to go see is Shedd Aquarium, open 9am-5pm. They have 12 different exhibits including, ¨At Home on The Great Lakes¨ and ¨Caribbean Reef¨. For sport lovers you could go to Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.
