Building wealth is no easy task, most never achieve financial freedom. Tom Corley, a financial planner and accountant interviewed 233 self-made millionaires on their daily habits. These are the results from the interviews:

  1. Wake up early – About 50 percentage or Corley’s participants woke up at least 3 hours before their actually work day began. Many said that was their time to take care of personal projects, get a head start on planning their day, and the time they used to exercise.
  2. Read often – Nearly 88 percent of the people devote a minimum of 30 minutes a day to reading. Majority said they only read biography, history, or self-help books.
  3. Spend 15-30 minutes a day dedicated on focused thinking – Quite a few of the participants said they dedicated a small amount of time during their day to reflect on what is currently happening in their jobs or personal lives; this is their way of reducing stress.
  4. Exercise – Studies show that working out constantly gives you a clear mindset and gives you more motivation. About 76 percent of the millionaires dedicated 30 minutes to doing a form of exercise.
  5. Avoid time-wasters – A large amount of the group mentioned how they prioritize their time. They try to avoid getting on apps that don’t benefit them or spend hours watching television. They only invest their time in activities that will help them grow.
